If the disk drive that receives the log-shipping transaction files (*.trn) fills up, it will cause the log shipping chain to break for those database affected. Here are the steps to get log-shipping working again when this happens:

1. Clear away some of the aged log shipping files.
2. Restart the log shipping jobs.
3. Re-setup email alerts on all of the log shipping jobs on the SQL Server (remember this is a manual step you need to perform when you tear down and rebuild a log shipped database).
